Nigerdock, a member of Jagal Energy, is the leading indigenous Nigerian energy services company with diverse but related capabilities in complex oil and gas project delivery during both the greenfield and brownfield stages of an asset lifecycle.

The range of services offered include full Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC), or stand alone engineering, procurement management, onshore and offshore fabrication,  brown field modifications, fabric maintenance, asset maintenance management, ship building and repair, marine services,  logistics and the associated base support services.

Nigerdock is the leading indigenous EPC  Contractor specialising in the fabrication of topside modules including process platforms, wellhead platforms and accommodation modules: FPSO module fabrication/integration; subsea structures; jackets; pressure vessels; process piping; deep and shallow water buoys; and piles yokes etc.

The company has benefited from significant investment from Jagal Energy. This investment has exceeded $500MM USD since introduction of the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development (NOGICD) Act in 2010. Through more than a decade of investments, training and capacity building, Nigerdock is now one of the largest and safest fabrication facilities in Africa and today is able to leverage its world class facilities, ISO accredited management systems and highly trained workforce to deliver major projects for its clients and the industry as a whole.

Nigerdock’s Shipyard is the largest facility of its kind in West Africa with an outstanding history in the Nigerian Maritime industry. It is specialised in the fields of ship building, ship repair, maintenance and refurbishment. It has a 25,000DWT graving dock, a 3,500DWT floating dock, multiple quayside facilities and weather proof multi-purpose workshops. The shipyard management is focused on offering its clients the highest level of service and to consistently improve on its quality and level of workmanship. The company continues to expand its capabilities in offering specialist engineering services and more complex operations including rig refurbishment.

Leveraging its location and facilities in the Snake Island Integrated Free Zone, Nigerdock Support Base is strategically positioned to provide a “One-Stop-Shop” project service offering to clients within and beyond the upstream Oil & Gas and broader energy sector. The services and capabilities on offer include Integrated Logistics Services, Storage and Warehousing Services, Offshore Logistics, Vessel Supply Base Support Services, Waste Management, Cargo Handling & Heavy Lift Operations and 3rd Party Ship Handling & Management. Nigerdock’s fully equipped base and fabrication yard boasts a wide variety of mobile plant and equipment including self propelled mobile trailers (SPMTs), container handlers, tele-handlers, forklifts and over 25 mobile cranes with up to 500 tonne capacity. The facility has its own power plant generating up to 8MW and bespoke fabrication, rolling plant, paint shops, offices, accommodation services, warehousing and laydown facilities.

The ultimate goal of the Nigerdock Support Base is to provide levels of integrated services that enable tangible cost benefits to our clients on short and long term projects.  It offers a solution for onsite access to multiple project support facilities within a free zone environment providing a competitive cost base for project support and execution. Shared support services within the free zone include offices, accommodation, catering, medical and banking facilities, ground transportation and recreational facilities.

Nigerdock Training Centre has been committed to providing the highest quality needs-based training. The Nigerdock training facility consists of workshops and machining rooms that are fully equipped with welding booths, pipe-fitting benches, lathes, milling machines, fully equipped classrooms, an ICT room and a comprehensive technical library. To date this facility has trained over 6,000 personnel in a range of skills including Project Management, Quality, Occupational Health and Safety, Welding, Fitting, Painting and Coating, Machining, Lifting and Rigging and Scaffolding.

The Training Centre offers bespoke programmes to clients in upstream oil and gas and the broader energy sector including Federal Government agencies, International Oil Companies (IOCs), National Oil Companies (NOCs) and major oil service contractors.. Training is conducted by Subject Matter Experts to international standards through a combination of theoretical, practical and most importantly “on-the-job” training underpinned by a focus on safety, quality and workplace values.
